The first thing that comes to mind in my memory of John is his heart to help others. John was a member of the original Evangelism activity--feeding hot dog suppers to the children and their families that used our Hutto Discovery UMC fields for summer sports practice. His heart shone big then and that heart continues to shine after his passing. Terence, I know you are missing him terribly but his spirit lives on. Peace and comfort.

John was one of the friendliest and kindest Christians I have known. He inspired me with his spirt and wiliness to help in any way he could. I have not seen John or Terance for many years since I moved from the Hutto area. But I have exchanged Christmas cards with him and Terance. I always look forward to their fascinating creations. Terance, I know the sorrow you must feel in the loss of your best friend and husband. I will keep you in my prayers in hopes of relieving some of your sorrows. I would love to attend the service for John, but Cassandra and her girls and I are in Montana now on our annual summer trip. Know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you on the 10th. John was such a special gentle soul. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. Everytime we saw him and Terrence he would regale us with stories of his family and his younger years! I will forever miss him and he stories! Rest in peace my friend♥️
