Obituary of Jesse R Martinez

Our beloved Jesse R. Martinez, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Martinez; grandmother, Elba Martinez; and great grandparents, Elvira and Pedro Rodriguez; aunt, Donna A. Quiroz; and uncle, Pedro “Pete” Rodriguez

Jesse is survived by his mother, Ruth Jennings and her Husband Courtney Jennings; siblings, Theresa McBride and her husband Anton Sr., and Kenneth “Kenny” Kindred; nieces and nephews, Aniah McBride, Anton “AJ” McBride Jr., and Jordan Kindred; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with prayer services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home at 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas 78752. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. also at Austin Peel and Son on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
