We extend our sincere condolences to the family of Pastor Jesse Martinez. We got to know him in San Antonio, as the Pastor of Templo Sion. I was his Presbyter in the East San Antonio Section. He would frequently refer to me as "Boss." It was his way of being respectful and yet light-hearted. I enjoyed many conversations with him about his life and ministry. He was always respectful and honoring of ministers, and he loved the congregation where he served. He will be greatly missed.

I attended a few church services at Templo Sion where Rev. Jesse was Pastoring. I had family that was part of his congregation. I appreciated that the Rev. allowed us to hold my Brother and Aunts funeral at the church. It meant a lot, when he opened the door to our family when tragedy hit home. Our condolences.

My condolences to the family.
Pastor Jesse was a great friend and mentor while I attended Sion. I'll always remember the fishing trips we would take to Rockport and the many laughs we shared. He was always there if you needed someone to talk. No matter the hour of the day. I know right now he's fishing off the pier in heaven. Catch one for me Pastor. Miss you and love you

Our condolences and prayers to Pastor Jesse’s family. One memory we recall is when we invited Pastor Jesse to a San Antonio Missions baseball game. We could tell that he enjoyed himself at the game & enjoyed the nachos and all the snacks there. He was always in a good mood and a very funny guy! Even though he was going through difficulties at times, he always had the joy of the Lord in him! He will be missed & I know we will miss his sense of humor. Until we meet again Pastor Jesse! You are at home with our Lord! ❤️ The Hover Family Thomas, Ruth, Thomas Jr., & Timothy
