Obituary of Efrain Cruz

Our beloved Efrain Cruz, age 90, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, December 16, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Carmen Cruz; children, Roberto Cruz and Lorna “Lorie” Cruz; and parents, Isidoro Cruz and Merita Rivera.

He is survived by his children: Wanda Soto (Voltaire), Frank Cruz (Madeline), and Awilda “Becky” Cruz; grandchildren: Brandon, Alyssa, Daniel, Teresa, and Joseph; great grandchildren: Jose, Jaiden, Alina, Gionni, and Mateo. Efrain is also survived by numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home located on 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, TX 78752 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There will be a final viewing on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery located on 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
