It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Dawnelle McAdams announces her sudden passing, on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Kyle TX. Born on September 18, 1947 in Aberdeen, WA. Susan precedes her parents Earl Gene and Margery Troyer of Springfield, OR. A lifelong learner, Susan had a love for reading and enjoyed many hobbies over the years. An avid quilter, Susan was affiliated with local and international quilting guilds, and donated quilts to local charitable causes. Susan had a passion for gardening and a love for animals. She loved to travel as well as explore the local countryside. For the last eight years, Susan worked for the State Health Department. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. Susan is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Patrick McAdams of 17 years, her children, Geoffrey Pearson (David), Emily Garza (Karim), Joel Pearson (Wendy), Dana Pearson (Lindsay) stepdaughter Angel McAdams Prescott (Sean), sister Tara Troyer along with ten grandchildren, Hailey, Taylor, Aidan, Samantha, Anthony, Kalani, Saajid, Tori, Cambria, Mikael and many cousins and uncles. A viewing will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home, 607 East Anderson Lane Austin, TX. A Funeral Service in memory of Susan will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas Pearson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her.
