Obituary of Ina Gay Orum
Ina Gay Orum passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023 in Austin, Texas, after she succumbed to a battle with cancer. Mrs. Orum, 79, was born August 20, 1943, to Bernice and Leland Lindemann of Cost, Texas who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Oscar Orum of Austin, Texas and loving daughter, Amy Kruse, son-in-law Byron, and grandchildren Anna and Noah Kruse of Pflugerville, Texas; and her sister, Janet Clark of Austin, Texas. Her brother, L.A. Lindemann Jr., preceded her in death.
Ina Gay received her nursing degree from Bracken Ridge School of Nursing and proudly served a career in nursing for 44 years.
Visitation will be Friday, May 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane in Austin, Texas. Services and burial will be Saturday, May 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Monthalia United Methodist Church, 1926 County Road 112 in Cost, Texas.
