A few memories of her life… She was such a joy to be around with and her cooking was always very delicious. She cooked with much joy and she had a smile when we were enjoying her cooking. Two Sundays before her passing during worship session she came up to me and hugged me very tightly and she said: “Pastor, I love you very much.” Thereafter she moved over to my wife and said the same thing. Her words to us were a revelation of her heart: loving and beautiful. The Saturday before her passing, she cleaned the sanctuary and she left it spotless. The service she rendered at our congregation with her hands revealed her skillfulness and humbleness. The few times we were blessed to get together for brunch, her spirit flowed with happiness, and she was very inquiring to know more about the things of God. Lastly, her care as a mother to her precious children was impressionable. She wanted your children to be always well taken care of. She will always live in our hearts. Proverbs 10:7 says: "The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot." It takes years for a reputation to be built up but seemingly only a few minutes to destroy it. Sleep in heavenly peace my dear and precious daughter Minerva, see you soon… Algunos recuerdos de su vida... Era un placer estar con ella y sus comidas siempre fueron muy deliciosas. Cocinaba con mucha alegría y tenía una sonrisa cuando disfrutábamos de su comida. Dos Domingos antes de su fallecimiento durante el tiempo de adoración se me acercó y me abrazó muy fuerte y me dijo: “Pastor, lo amo mucho.” Después, se acercó a mi esposa y le dijo lo mismo. Sus palabras para nosotros fueron una revelación de su corazón: amoroso y hermoso. El Sábado anterior a su fallecimiento limpió el santuario y lo dejó sin tacha. El servicio que prestó en nuestra congregación con sus manos reveló su habilidad y humildad. Las pocas veces que tuvimos la bendición de reunirnos para almorzar, su espíritu fluía de felicidad y estaba muy interesada en saber más sobre las cosas de Dios. Por último, su cuidado como madre para sus preciosos hijos fue impresionable. Quería que sus hijos estuvieran bien cuidados siempre. Ella siempre vivirá en nuestros corazones. Proverbios 10:7 dice: "La memoria del justo será bendita; Mas el nombre de los impíos se pudrirá.". Se necesitan años para construir una reputación, pero aparentemente solo unos minutos para destruirla. Duerme en paz celestial mi querida y preciosa hija Minerva, hasta pronto…

I still remember the first day she arrived at our local congregation. The first thing I encounter was her infectious and beautiful smile. If she had any problems, you wouldn’t be able to tell. Her love for the Lord was visible in how she worshipped (in Spirit & in Truth), and her sincere and humbled character gave testimony of type of person she was. My beautiful Sis Minerva, you will be truly missed by all who knew you.
