Obituary of Howard Carl Tanner

Our beloved Howard Carl Tanner was called home, on Friday, January 20, 2023.

He is preceded by his beloved wife, Betty Lee Tanner; parents, Walter Carl Tanner and Eva Mae Young Tanner.

Howard is survived by his children Sandra Lynn Piechot, Susan Michelle  Oppermann, and Sheryl Marie Maniet; grandson, Theodore Piechot; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

An informal visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752; with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Rd, Austin, TX 78759. A visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, prior to services; Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
