Romeo Davila Jr., age 65 of Austin, Texas passed away Thursday December 22, 2022. He was born in Alice Texas September 26,1957 to the late Romeo Davila Sr and Vilma Cardona Davila.

He is survived by his former wife of 39 years Martina Davila and his 4 daughters: Veronica Murrieta (Steban), Vickie Valdez, Valerie Valdez and Evangeline Montoya (Benny) of Austin Tx, 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 7 sisters Esmeralda Rodriguez, Diamintina Garcia, Rosie Medina, Carolina Raggio, Leticia Bueno, Lucinda Lindell and Rebecca Cabello and 1 brother Fernando Davila. Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Maximo Valdez, grandson Surleslie Hall and grandson Joe Michael Montemayor.  He served in Job Corp, Illinois where he earned in diploma in heavy equipment operator, worked in the oil field for many years and worked for the city of Austin for 10 years.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8th ,2023 from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00p.m. at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary starting at 12:00p.m. located at 607 East Anderson Lane, Austin,TX 78752.
