Obituary of Refugio E. Garcia

Our beloved Refugio E. Garcia was called home, on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

Refugio is preceded in death his sister, Irma Linda Garcia.

Refugio is survived by his loving wife, Elma P. Casso; parents, Juan and Maria Garcia; children, Julia Ann Rodriguez & Jesse Rodriguez Jr. (Son-in-law), Gerardo Refugio Garcia, John Christopher Garcia and Joshua Casso; siblings, Mary Helen Segura, Jose Luis Garcia, Victor Garcia and Reynaldo Garcia; grandchildren; Nicholas Gregory Garcia, Leah Justine Rodriguez, Mary Josephine Galvan, Gilbert Geovanni Garcia, Jacob Christopher Rodriguez, Brianna Rose Calderon, Jasmine Michelle Castillo, Chloe Acuña, Kaytlynn Abigail Garcia, Xavier Alexander Garcia, Thomas Luke Garcia, Analydia Garcia, Nevaeh Christian Garcia, Joshua Casso, Jr., Carmelo Josiah Garcia, Gerardo Refugio Garcia, Kenna Nicole Stone Casso, Eli Matteo Garcia; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 PM at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson ln. Austin, Texas 78752. After the conculsion of services, friends and family are welcome to meet at La Palapa, 6640 E Hwy 290, Austin, TX 78723 for food and fellowship.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
