Obituary of Richard G. Boone

Our beloved Richard G. Boone was called home on August 19, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph T. Boone Sr., and Alice M. Bennett Boone.

Richard is survived by his siblings, Rudolph “Rudy” T. Boone Jr., Joan Jones and her Husband William “Bill” Jones Sr., and Mark Boone; nieces and nephews, William Jones Jr., Jazmine Boone, and Latisha Harrison; great nieces and nephews, Eric Harrison and Tamara Harrison; as well as and numerous loving  family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, on Friday, September 2, 2022. Interment will follow at Cook Walden Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
