Obituary of Rory Broze

Dr. Rory An Broze, 73, passed away at home on or about August 11, 2022. Rory was born in Venezuela on January 12, 1949, the daughter of James Riley Crowe and Vivian Adkins Crowe.

Rory became the wife of Robert Broze and the mother to Troy while only 14 years of age. She returned to Lamar High School and graduated in 1966. She then became the mother to twins, Sean and Shannon. Rory continued her education at the University of Houston, Clear Lake and received a bachelors degree in Pschology. Rory later went to Texas Chiropratic College and graduated in 1985 becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. She settled in Austin, TX in 1986 where Dr. Broze practiced her profession until COVID restricted it in 2019.

Dr. Broze was a member of  The Church of Concious Harmony and the Tenth Man School. She was a centering prayer presenter, a teacher and a healer. Rory was an incredibly gifted doctor and healer with a big heart who cared deeply for her patients. She was intelligent and always eager to learn about new methods of healing.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Jimmy Crowe; her granddaughter, Aly Vikos; and her son Troy Broze. Surviving her sister, Rone Bierfeld; daughters, Sean Fecht and Shannon Balderas; granchildren Mike Broze, Jessi Broze, Derrick Broze, JoAnn Hughes, RoseAnn Pumilia, Tyler Vikos, Mason Fecht, Lauren Fecht, David Balderas and Gabby Winter; nephew Jason Bierfeld, and niece Jordan Bierfeld; as well as 18 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at The Church of Conscious Harmony, 7406 Newhall Ln, Austin, TX 78746 with a reception to follow.
