Obituary of Claud Douglas Green

Our beloved Claud Douglas Green was called home, on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

He is awaited in heaven by his parents Altha J. Richardson Green and Charlie Wesley Green; and by his brother, Henry lee “Sunny” Williams.

Claud has left behind his loving children, Ivory Green, Claud Green Jr., Tramisha Pete Green, Deasia Benson, Desmond Green, and Devin Green; stepchildern Ashely Smith, Timothy Hendricks and Trina Hendricks; 11 grandchildren; great grandson, Omari Blount; sister, Ida Nell Banks; and his 30-year partner Patricia Smith; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M., with a Prayer Service beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
