“As long as we remember a person, they’re not really gone. Their thoughts their feelings, their memories, they become a part of us.”

Jose B. Rebolloso was called home on the 3 of July 2022. He was surrounded by his loved ones at home where he went peacefully. He was born in un ranchito called La YerbaBuena Vista a hamlet in Mexico San Luis Potosi to Manuel and Blasa; this where he grew to learn to attend as a shepherd to his family farm animals at a very young age, growing up to start his own life adventures always working in nature, he then came to the United States where he found his love Jovita Arellano ( Rebolloso) in where they began to build their family that's where we all come in one by one. they both worked in the fields picking up cotton. He then learned to work as a carpenter where his passion grew for Carpentry building our first family homes by his hands manually. he then went on to working at University of Texas for more than a decade Jose (my grandpa) did not have the opportunity for much formal education. However, his intelligence in carpentry, maintaining cattle, having all types of farm animals, to gardening where he as well taught us all about growing our own foods. It was amazing what we learned from his wisdom. I remember him always teaching us about the astronomy and so much more knowledge about life. He was always willing to help others a story that was shared was that neighbors would come knock at his door to help pull the vehicles out of the mud and not just once. His work ethic and taking care of his family led him to be one the greatest man I have ever known. If he wanted to say anything or leave something behind so that we can take from him its work, be peaceful, help others, to be united as a family and to be fair in everything in life.

He is preceded by his parents, Manual Rebolloso and Blasa Nino Rebolloso; beloved wife Jovita Arellano Rebolloso siblings, sisters Inasia Rebolloso Fass, Pilar Rebolloso Nino, Emilia Rebolloso Beltran, Soledad Rebolloso Flores, Maricela Rebolloso Renteria, Siria Rebolloso, Fustina Rebolloso Beltran, and Brothers Rito Rebolloso, Juan Rebolloso, and Margarito Rebolloso. Son Bernardino Rebolloso, Son-n-law Edward A. Garza, Grandsons Freddy Brown, Bernadino Jr. Rebolloso, Ruben Garza and great-great grandbaby Juanito.
