Obituary of Aurelio Montoya Jr.

Our beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend Aurelio Montoya Jr., was called home, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

He has been met in heaven by his fathers, Aurelio Montoya Sr. and Rudy Bill De La Cruz.

Aurelio is survived by his mother, Angelina (Moncivais) Przygoda; his five children, Jaqueline Montoya, Anthony Montoya, John Angelo Montoya, Steve Ian Kai Montoya, and Ayden Sanchez; siblings, Richard Moncivais and Norina De La Cruz-Abeita and her husband Edward Abeita; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19,2022 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
