Obituary of Osvaldo Muniz Rodriguez

Our beloved Osvaldo Muniz Rodriguez, was called home, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

He is preceded by his father, Gregorio Muniz.

He is survived by his loving wife, Aime Del Carmen; mother, Agripina Rodriguez; son, Osvaldo Gregorio Muniz; and by his siblings, Maria Elena Muniz Rodríguez, Salvador Muñiz Rodríguez, Pasqual Muñiz Rodríguez, Florentino Muñiz Rodríguez, Fermín Muñiz Rodríguez, Federico Muñiz Rodríguez, Uriel Muñiz Rodríguez, Humberto Muñiz Rodríguez, and by numerous loving family and friends.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 East Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church located at 2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin, TX 78704. This will conclude services.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.

Nuestro amado Osvaldo Muniz Rodriguez fue llamado por nuestro Padre Celestial el martes, 15 de febrero, 2022.

El fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Gegorio Muniz.

A Osvaldo le sobreviven su esposa amorosa, Aime Del Carmen; madre, Agripina Rodriguez; hijo Osvaldo Gregorio Muniz; hermanos y hermanas, , Maria Elena Muniz Rodríguez, Salvador Muñiz Rodríguez, Pasqual Muñiz Rodríguez, Florentino Muñiz Rodríguez, Fermín Muñiz Rodríguez, Federico Muñiz Rodríguez, Uriel Muñiz Rodríguez, Humberto Muñiz Rodríguez y numerosos otros familiares, y amigos. 

El Velorio se realizará de 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., con un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. el miercoles, 9 de marzo, 2022 en Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 East Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752.

El Servicio funebre será el jueves, 10 de marzo de 2022 a las 1:00 p.m. en San Jose Catholic Church located at 2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin, TX 78704.  

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,
los niveles de capacidad están restringidos en funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.
Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.
y practicar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies o más. Si está enfermo o le preocupa el virus,
se recomienda que no asista a los servicios.
