Obituary of Christopher James Nuñez

Our beloved Christopher James Nunez was called home, on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Christopher is awaited in Heaven by his grandfather, Jose Nunez.

Christopher has left behind his, loving wife, Danielle Maldonado; mother, Gloria Nunez; grandmother, Guadalupe Nunez; children, Matthew Nunez, Caleb Nunez, Luke Nunez, Reece Nunez, and Cameron Nunez; brothers Larry Nunez, and Mark Nunez; as well as many other loving friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752. Scripture Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., also at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
