Obituary of Arthur Edward Green

Our beloved Arthur Edward Green was called home, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Goins and Dorothy Green; and sister, Beverly Anderson.

He is survived by his siblings, Virginia Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Lana Goings, Dennis Goins, and Ronnie Goins; nieces, Ebini Anderson, Deitra Anderson, Natasha Lane, Crystal Anderson; nephew Jerrell Anderson; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752. Interment will follo at New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 1008 Private Road 1181, Giddings, TX 78942.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
