I met Ovidio (I did not know he went by Bill) when his sons, and mine were part of the boys scouts in Pflugerville. We became good friends from that experience, as I called, or sent messages, to wish him and his family well wishes every year since. I last spoke with him around November and lost touch with him since, I myself, lost my father about that time. I sent him my usual greetings in December, but this time I didn't get a response, not knowing what had happened. I kept sending texts and calling regularly but no response, hoping everything would be fine...until today. From our short lived friendship, I learned that I met an exceptional person full of love for his family, loyal friend, he never forgot about me nor I about him. We had a common interest in always wanting to help anyone that was in need of help regardless of the situation. We always tried to get together with our families to get to better know each other, but there were never enough time in our busy lives, since we moved from Pflugerville to Bastrop. I'm so sad and would like to extend a heartfelt condolences to Ovidio's family and extended family, we will pray for him, we know he is with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. - Andrew Mendoza & Family

Bill, may you finally Rest In Peace.. I prayed that all of your sins were forgiven and God accept you in Heaven. He is a forgiving God as he knows none of us are perfect. We should all pray for forgiveness for the things in life we’ve done that we know were hurtful and wrong. Now you are in Heaven with my sister Liz and you can make peace with her also. Please keep an eye on Eliot, as your oldest son he will need your guidance. Be his other Guardian Angel in life. Rest Peacefully in Heaven.
