Obituary of Jose Luis Parra

Our beloved Jose Luis Parra Jr., was called home, to our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Jose is survived by his parents, Jose Luis Parra Sr. and Irene Soza Loredo; his loving wife, Lora Parra; his daughters, Toni Maestas Parra, Kelli Parra; his grandchildren; Anthony Parra, Janell Parra, Adrian Parra, Angel Parra, Marcus Maestas, Angelina Parra, Jeremiah Alberts Parra, Kassie Parra; siblings, Gregory Parra, John Parra and Andrew Parra; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home at 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas 78752. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 5909 Reicher Dr., Austin, TX 78723, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
