Obituary of Maria Cruz Chavez

Our beloved Maria Cruz Chavez, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 28 beautiful years, Ermenegildo Chavez; children, Valentin Chavez, and Jesus Chavez; parents, Feliciano Ceballos and Rosario Loera; and her siblings, Vicenta Ceballos, Manuel Ceballos, and Jesus Ceballos.

Maria is survived by her children, Alfonso Chavez and his wife Viridiana, Armando Chavez and his wife Teresa, Alberto Chavez and his wife Carmina, and Marcos Chavez and his wife Maria de los Angeles, as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home at 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas 78752.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
