Obituary of Florentino Herrera Jr.

Our beloved Florentino Herrera Jr. was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Thursday, October 14, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father Florentino Herrera Sr.

Florentino is survived by his mother Maria Cruz Saldaña Herrera; siblings, Carlos Herrera, David Herrera and his wife Audrey Hernandez Herrera, Floyd Herrera and his wife Linda Flores Herrera, Alicia Herrera Gonzalez and her husband Paul Gonzalez, as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a Scripture Service to follow on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home at 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas 78752. This will conclude services.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
