Please accept my sincere sympathy to Herschel's family at this sad time. My Dad, Floyd Clark, and Herschel were first cousins and I have many fond memories of visits with Herschel, Ruth and their sons. Herschel always seemed to have a smile on his face. On several occasions he brought his guitar to our home on East 55th Street in Austin and would sing and play for us. Later he was a mentor to my sister Cookie Clark as she learned to play harmonica and dulcimer. This is one of my favorite pictures of Ruth and Herschel. Candy (Clark) Allmand
