Obituary of Wanda Cheryl Johnson-Yett

Wanda Cheryl Johnson-Yett was born to the late Raymond Johnson Sr. and Alma Washington-Nobles in McGregor, Tx. on May 20, 1957. She came to know the Lord at an early age. She attended school in Austin,Tx and graduated from Johnston High School. Upon graduation, She attended UT Law School.

In the following years, she would meet the man of her dreams. Her husband, Samuel Yett, and they were married May, 25, 1995. 
Wanda went on to pursue a career with Heath and Human Services where she retired after 30 years of service.

Wanda loved being with family. Most of all she loved kids. She had a passion and patience with children, young and old.

Wanda was a quiet spirit who enjoyed spending time at home, cooking, watching movies, reading book and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and Husband.

Wanda loved to cook, and the sign entering her kitchen reads, "Wanda's Kitchen". Cooking is a subject you can never know enough about. There is always something new to learn, she would say...

 

Wanda passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her Father Raymond Johnson Sr., and Brother Raymond Johnson Jr. and a host of aunts and uncles. 

She leaves to cherish here children: Tiffany Clemons, Robert Clemons, and Shoneice Yett

(Stepchildren) Yolanda Yett, Barry Yett, Jarrell Yett, Ashley Winn-Yett

 

Her Grandchildren: Ebonie Clemons, Kianna Thomas, Gianna Yett, Sky Yett, Tyana Welch, TJ Welch, Aria Corothers, Amir Corothers, Rowdy Corothers, Cayden Clemons, Janessa Clemons, Jaylenna Clemons, Baby Robert Clemons, Virgie Clemons and Nehemiah Yett

Her Loving Mother and Brother: Alma Washington-Nobles, Anton Mackey(Tiffany), and a host of Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, In-Laws, and friends.
