Obituary of Patsy Botello

Our Beloved Patsy Botello, age 85 of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by Her Loving Family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gregorio and Juanita Mendieta, husbands Pete Cortez Sr and Joe Botello Sr and her sons, Graciano Cortez, Pete Cortez Jr. and Nicolas Cortez.

Her brother's -Antonio Mendieta, Thomas Mendieta, Vincent Mendieta, Nickolas Mendieta, Reyes Mendieta, George Mendieta and Sister Pauline Vasquez.

Patsy is survived by her children, Janie Zambrano (Edward), Johnny Cortez, Angie Gil (Tony), Linda Cortez (Daughter-In-Law), Joe Botello Jr (Valarie) and Pete Cortez Jr (Virgie). She is survived by numerous granddaughters, three grandsons and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at 12:00 PM (noon) at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr. Austin, Texas.

Interment Committal Services will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park, 11610 Chapel Ln. Austin, Texas 78748
