Obituary of Sonie Dang Polastry

Our loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law and friend left us all too soon on May 2.

Sonie was born in Indo-China and left after the fall of Saigon, RSVN.

During her final 8 weeks, in her home, under the compassionate care of Altus Hospice, husband Henry of 26 years, daughter Tiffany Dang Norris, her loving nieces Nhat Thi Dang and Hanh Nguyen and nephews Phuong Hoai Nguyen and Davis Vu. 

Sonie was surrounded by love. Special thanks to nephew Andy Vu for assistance. 

Sonie leaves her husband Henry J. Polastry Jr.; daughter Tiffany Dang Norris, sister Thi Lua Dang, brother-in-law Mark Polastry and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Sonie joins our mom and dad (Elizabeth and Henry Jr. Polastry CMSGT Ret. USAF) in the hallowed grounds of Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. 

Services conducted by Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Lane on May 27, 2021 at 9:00a.m. Graveside Burial at 2:15p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
