Obituary of Virginia R Lynch

Virginia Rae Lynch passed away peacefully at home on April 16th, 2021. She had suffered with Parkinson’s Disease for 21 years.
Virginia was born to Raymond and Blanche Wiltse in Pisgah Iowa on December 11, 1935. She attended Onawa Iowa high school where she was a member of the cheer leading squad. She earned a registered nursing certificate from the Saint Catherine’s Hospital / Creighton University school of nursing in Omaha Nebraska. She then earned her B. S. N. degree from the University of Omaha. Virginia was a member of the teaching faculty at the Clarkson Hospital school ofnursing in Omaha.
Virginia married Doctor William Lynch in Omaha on August 24th 1964. They had seven children, Michael, Joseph, Daniel, Charles, Peter, Katherine and Stephen. They have eleven grand children. The family spent two years in Biloxi Mississippi during doctor Lynch’s tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force. Then they moved to Springfield Illinois, where Virginia raised her family over 27 years. When William retired, Virginia and he moved to Telluride Colorado for thirteen years before moving to Austin Texas.Besides her husband, 6 children and eleven grand children; Virginia is survived by her sister Marge Gell of Omaha.
Funeral mass will be at the Saint Albert the Great catholic church in Austin at 10am on Wednesday April 21st.
Her pallbearers will be her five surviving sons, Michael, Daniel, Charles, Peter and Stephen with hergrandson William Rogers Lynch completing the sixth position.
