Obituary of Lois Marie Orr

Lois Marie Orr was born on July 31, 1922; she passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2021.

Her husband of 66 years, William Orr, pre-deceased her in 2015. After a long and full life, she is survived by her five children: Marie Moore; William Orr, IV; Peter Orr and wife Margie; Michael Orr and wife Cynthia; and Jeanne Davis. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Lois had a love of travel, music, fitness, and knowledge which she endeavored to share with her grandchildren, by making sure they all could participate in Scouts or Camp Fire, in band or orchestra, providing them with a set of luggage, funding tennis and swimming lessons, taking them to the library often, investing in a college fund for them, and bringing them along when she visited new and old locales.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow, Austin, Texas.
