Obituary of Manuela Garza

Our beloved Manuela Garza, age 77, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Angelberto Garza Leal; parents, Francisco and Genoveva Garza; and brother, Raul.

She is survived by her loving children, Emma Laura Garza, Angelberto Garza (Maria Ramirez), Adriana Garza (Edward J. Herrera), Arnoldo B. Garza (Gabriela Alonso), Alfredo Garza (Nayda Garza); Miguel Oviedo, who Manuela saw as a son; grandchildren, Maria Laura, Jose Miguel, Angelberto, Mauricio, Diana Sofia, Edward J. III, Sara Gabriela, Brenda Gabriela, Daniela, Fred, Alejandro, and Braian; and siblings, Jose, Concepcion “Concha”, Daniel, Felicitas “Licha”, Gloria, Ramiro, and Ruben. Manuela is also survived by numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 6:30 p.m.  with a Scripture Service to follow on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752.

This will conclude services.

El 9 de Marzo, nuestra querida Manuela “Mela” Garza de 77 años escucho el llamado y tomo la mano del Señor.

Partieron antes que ella su querido esposo de 20 años, sus papás  Francisco y Genoveva Garza, y hermano Raul.

La sobreviven sus hijos, Emma Laura Garza, Angelberto Garza (Maria Ramirez),  Adriana Garza (Edward J Herrera), Arnoldo B Garza (Gabriela Alonso), Alfredo Garza (Nayda Garza), Miguel Oviedo a quien Mela veía cómo hijo, nietos. María Laura, Jose Miguel, Angelberto, Mauricio, Diana Sofia, Edward J III, Sara Gabriela, Brenda Gabriela, Daniela, Fred, Alejandro and Braian; hermanos y hermanas,  José, Concepcion “Concha”, Daniel, Alicia “Licha”, Gloria, Ramiro, y Ruben. También numerosos familiares y amigos.

El viernes 19 de marzo de 5 pm - 9pm, sus hijos y nietos recibirán condolencias y recitarán el rosario seguido por Lectura de la Palabra en la Capilla Austin Peel and Son, en 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752.
