Obituary of David Bruce Townsend

Our beloved David Bruce Townsend, age 77, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Maureene Townsend; daughter, Tracy Lynn Belding; and brother, Clyde Townsend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Townsend; son, Terrell Bruce Townsend; son-in-law, Jeff Belding; grandson, Jaden Brian Belding; and brother, Jack Townsend (Grace). David is also survived by numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752. Interment will follow at Decker Free Church Cemetery, located at 10309 Decker Lane, Austin, Texas 78724.
