Obituary of Richard Lee Drake, Jr.

Our beloved Richard Lee Drake, Jr., age 37, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Drake; grandparents, Joan and Ernest Drake, and Richmond Clark, Sr.; and nephews, James Lee Drake, Jr. and Matthew Michael Drake, Jr.

He is survived by his loving son, Richard Lee Drake III; parents, Richard Drake, Sr., Susan Hutson, and stepfather, David Surasky; brother, Matthew Drake (Jessica Stanley); grandmother, Helen Meseck and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Words of Comfort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752.
