Obituary of Nicasia Benitez de Lopez

Our beloved Nicasia Benitez de Lopez, age 89, passed away on August 6, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Valente and Milia Benitez; son, Alvaro Lopez; and grandchildren, Luis Jesus Lopez, Alex Lopez, and Jose Luis Lopez.

She is survived by her loving children, Francisco Lopez, Maria Luisa Lopez, Alejandro Lopez, and Genaro Lopez; grandchildren, Alejandro Lopez, Jr., Isaiah Lopez, Rosa Lopez, Berenice Lopez, Norberto Lopez, Marivel Lopez, Elida Lopez, Maria Angelica Lopez, Aureliano Lopez, Jr., Elmer Lopez, Veronica Lopez, Maria Lopez, Silvia Lopez, Francisco Lopez, Jr., Lorena Lopez, Olivia Lopez, and Griselda Lopez. Nicasia is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Scripture Service to follow on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
