Dear Villasenor family,
My sincerest sympathies on the passing of this gracious, beautiful lady. I remember her on several occasions at family or friend funerals she was always so caring and attentive to family. She provided a service that is always needed and truly appreciated by families of the hispanic culture here in Austin. She brought class to every service.
Thank you for sharing this lovely lady with all of us!

Lois was undeniably a woman of grace and beauty. Our families friendship remains quite special. Our parents shared some wonderful times together. Every time I saw Lois, she would laughingly ask, "Do you know much we spent for Becky to be in your wedding?" We would both laugh though my laugh was probably less comfortable. I treasure each memory as I know you all do as well.

To Melissa, Charles and Becky,
Our deepest sympathy to you upon the loss of your dear Mom. She was our lovely neighbor...both outwardly and inwardly. We never saw her without a smile upon her face and she was interested in the well-being of those around her. She was an Angel to many, many people, and took the greatest care to make sure that her neighbors were well cared for and comfortable...even to the point of decorating the door of an elderly neighbor for different holidays and constantly checking on her. These things she did quietly, with no attempt to draw attention to herself...just because she had a heart of pure gold.
Our sons remember the still warm tamales which Lois would ask you to deliver to us and to other lucky neighbors, every Christmas! The boys would pounce on those tamales and they were gone in a matter of minutes. How we will all miss her presence on this Earth and we know that she is already busy in Heaven, making sure that everyone is touched by her Godly hands.
Rest In Peace, Lois!
Blessings,
Mary and Will Wilson

Mrs. V was a beautiful, strong, and amazing woman. I had the privilege of knowing her while growing up and would see her often while working at our family business Joe’s Place that was located near Mission Funeral Home. Sometimes I would deliver her order directly to her at the funeral home, a single flour taco with pico on the side with a sprite.
Then as years passed, I had the honor of working 11 ½ years with Mrs. V. and Charles at the South Austin location. I learned so many things from her about the funeral industry. She had a wealth of knowledge about the funeral industry and life in general. It was an honor and blessing to be able to enjoy so many long conversations with her when she would come visit me at the South location. She would be there with me for hours sometimes, just talking telling me about her day or sharing stories from her past with me or giving me advice on how to handle situations that could come up at the funeral home. I feel truly blessed that I was able to share those special moments with her.
To Charles, Becky and Melissa my deepest condolences to you all. Your Mother’s love will be with you always. May that love surround you now and bring each of you peace.
Mrs. V - I will miss you tremendously, but your memory will live on forever in my heart. I will love you always. -Rose

Lois what can I say you were a Pilar of our community, you treated everyone the same with dignity and respect. If anyone would walk in your office you would always get up and greet with a smile and a gentle hug. We cried in your shoulder, we’ve shared many stories and our grief with you. You were always there for us to lean on you. There was not a person in the community and out of the city that didn’t know about your humble treatment of individuals. You did it with Grace and Elegance. You’ve instilled the same beliefs to your children, we will miss you very much. You can soar like a beautiful dove that you were. My condolences and prayers to your daughters and especially Charles who is as dignify example of your teachings. I love him like my own. Go in Eternal Peace my dear.
