Obituary of Aurora Dora Arriaga

Our beloved Aurora Dora Arriaga, age 64, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 12, 2020.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Saragosa and Mary Martinez; son, Carlos Arriaga; and brother, Jesse Martinez. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Lucio Arriaga; children, Armando Martinez, Jr., Amanda Nichols (Daniel), Josue Arriaga, Alex Arriaga (Trish), and Laura Gonzalez (Nestor); grandchildren, Scierra Robledo, Isac Martinez, Daniel Nichols III “KeeKee”, Cuatro Arriaga, Bernice Arriaga, Adriana Avendano, Daniela Gonzalez, Anahi Gonzalez, Sophia Gonzalez, Sandra Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Jr., Noel Martinez, and Ivan Arriaga; great grandchildren, Damien Martinez, Ethan Martinez, and Aubrey Martinez. Aurora is also survived by her siblings, Marty Martinez, Bobbie Mendez, Belinda Trevino, Reynaldo Martinez, and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, located at 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 IH35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
