I’m still in shock and disbelief over Laura’s death almost 5 years later. She was one of my first and best friends at The University of Texas. We met on the E-Bus going from Jester to 6th Street on Halloween 2007. We even had the same cohort/teachers (1.5 years apart) and even internship/student teaching while at UT. We used to go eat at Luby’s right after school for dinner. I miss our random trips to float the river in San Marcos and the nights watching our favorite show, Girlfriends. This was the most recent picture I had of Laura- at our home in Waco with Jennifer and my daughter, Charlotte, in June 2014. Miss you forever Laura.
