My very fun and crazy, Aunt Nancy. When I was little, we took a trip to Austin to visit Aunt Nancy, Uncle Jerry and my two cute cousins. One day, Aunt Nancy told my sister and I about this magical tree in their backyard and it was always full of surprises. So, when we went to bed that night, Aunt Nancy got all the adults to tape candy to the branches of the tree. Imagine our surprise the next morning when we awoke to find this tree full of candy that just magically grew overnight. It's one of my favorite childhood memories that I still recite to friends. She truly did have a vivid imagination, immense animation, and a sense of humor that was still reflected in her Christmas cards she wrote to my family and me up until a couple years ago. She was loved and will be missed. And, I'm sure she's making a candy tree for everyone in heaven.

My precious Sister. What fun we have had starting in childhood. She was always the one with the great ideas, then she'd put me up to doing them. We laughed about these antics up to a few months before her death. Her artistic talents showed in her paintings, sculptures, cube boxes and box purses adorned in her unbelievable art. Her stitchery showed a creativity never shown by anyone else. In later adult years we often met in San Diego, where laughing rarely stopped as we visited our brother, Stephen. OH, how she is missed, and LOVED.

My deepest sympathy to each of you. May the love and the memories that you shared be of comfort to you. Our heavenly Father promises that he will restore life to many who have fallen asleep in death. He assures us that the day is soon to come in which the tears of sorrow of death will be no more.
