Guadalupe C. Sanchez Guadalupe C. Sanchez, 71 of Austin passed away on December 7, 2018. She was born to the late Desidero and Petra Castro on September 4, 1947. Lupe is survived by her loving husband; of 38 years, Juan J. Sanchez, daughter; Ophelia G. Ruiz (Candelario), son; Ezequiel "Packer" Godinez, III (Audrey) 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild , 5 sisters and 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Lupe was preceded in death by her sons Jesus Godinez and Michael Godinez. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Wednesday December 12, 2018 with Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday December 13, 2018 at St. Julia's Catholic Church in Austin, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Juan A. Garcia, Joe Garcia, Brandon J. Arzola, Chris A. Costilla, Vincent Reyes. Jr., and Cyrstian M. Camacho. Pallbearers are Jesus Godinez, Jr., Daniel Ramiro, Miguel Reyes, Jake Godinez, Josh Garcia, Jesus Godinez, III., Brandon Arzola and Chris Costilla.
