In Loving Memory Melissa “Missy” Ann Cloud, 49, of Austin passed away on November 4, 2018 in her home. Melissa was born January 21, 1969 and resided in Austin and Austin Metro area during her life. Melissa is survived by her husband, Glen Cloud; sisters, Sharon Crippen, Karen Heine, and Dana Cavanaugh; sons, Eric Alsobrook, Adbu Saghezli, and Etman Saghezli; Daughter-in-law, Canadice Saghezli; grandchildren, Lizzy, Niah, Rosie, Dom, Richard and Amira; nephews, Hunter Newsome, Joseph Schwertner, Michael Schwertner, Mark Cavanaugh, and Travis Cavanaugh; nieces, Samantha and Kayla Heine; Father and Mother-in law, Robert and Patricia Cloud; sister-in-law, Lizzie Cloud. Melissa is also survived by many cousins and beloved friends. Melissa is preceded in death by her parents, Delores Ann Brown and Wayne Crippen of Austin. Melissa was not just a sister, not just a mother, but a wonder of giving, forgiveness and love. Melissa was known to those closest to her as Mimi. Mimi loved the water, she loved to go to the Lake and the Gulf Coast with her boys. She was an avid cook and loved to share her cooking with her family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and enjoyed this time with family and friends. Mimi showed great strength in her life, battling many hard times. She has passed that strength onto those she loved. Visitation is Tuesday, November 13th, at Austin Peel and Sons, 607 East Anderson Lane, from 10am - 1pm with services being held at 2pm at Fiskville Cemetery, 1037 Fiskville Cemetery Rd. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free; I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all.
