Francisco C. Rodriguez Jr. also known as Frank, age 67 of Austin Texas was called to hiseternal home on Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born on October 3, 1950 to Janie & Francisco Rodriguez Sr.He is preceded in death by both Parents, wife Delia Rodriguez, and daughter Lori Ann Rodriguez. He is survived by his children Charles Rodriguez & Jessica, Ronnie & Lorena Rodriguez, Michael & Nina Castillo, Kevin Rodriguez, & Frances Rodriguez; 13 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild; 2 God Daughters and numerous Nieces & Nephews. He is also survived by his brother’s Oscar, Gabriel (Linda), David (Teresa) & sister Bina (Tony). Frank was a very dedicated sports fan who was prepared to watch any game that included his favorite teams such as the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros & NY Yankees when they weren’t playing one of his Texas teams. He loved going on adventures with his wife Delia whether it be on a bus or in a car. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as receiving visits from many others who came by to see him, this always brought a smile to his face. He also had a huge sweet tooth and enjoyed deserts always with two or more servings. Frank was quite a character and will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Frank’s Family would like to extend their Gratitude and appreciation to Well-Med, Hospice Austin, & his daughter Frances & son Charles for the continued care throughout his final days here with us. We would also like to say Thank you to Deputy Harris for always making him smile even when he wasn’t feeling well or having the best of days, and lastly we would like to say we are forever grateful and appreciate everyone who came by to visit and show compassion to both him and us. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 20, 2018 at Austin Peel & Son beginning at 3:00 pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Austin Peel & Son beginning at 10:00am. The Burial Service will be held at Assumption Cemetery immediately after. The Celebration of Life reception will be held at Austin Brethren Church located at 1800 Payton Gin Rd, Austin, Tx 78758 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
