In Loving Memory Rosie Davila Magaña | 1951 - 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Rosa “Rosie” Davila Magaña announces her passing, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the age of 67. Rosie was born January 8, 1951 to the late Ezequiel T. Davila, Jr and Anita “Annie” Juarez Davila at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville, Texas. Rosie took pride in nurturing her children and grandchildren, nobody left her house without a full stomach. She worked hard to make a loving home and to support her family. Rosie will be lovingly remembered by her Mother, Annie J. Davila and two brothers, Ezequiel Davila III and his wife Jan, Freddie Davila and his wife Sandy and husband Robert Magaña. Additionally, she was survived by her children, Martha Noriega, Sammy Noriega and Kristi, Nichole Haberer and Christian, Becky Perez, Gabe Perez, Jr. and Gracie, Monica Magaña Ramos and Keno, Amy Magana, Christina Friar and Cheil; grandchildren Adam Magaña and Lauren, Desiree Vazquez and Gilbert, Kenneth Ramos, Jr. and Raevin, Gabe Perez, III and Veronica, Samantha Noriega and Jeremy, Madison Delgado and Jacob, Kynslee and MaKena Noriega, Savannah Perez, Heather and Brittany Haberer, Ayden Noriega, Haley and Hannah Dunn, and Isaiah Friar. Rosie also had 5 great-grandchildren, Ezra and Kora Vazquez, Aniyah Lucero, Kason Ramos, and Jayden Tello. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ezequiel T. Davila, Jr and sister, Martha Ann Davila Vargas. A memorial service and rosary will be held in Rosie’s honor on Sunday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m., at Austin - Peel & Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, TX 78752.
