Guadalupe Matamoros - Alvarez Guadalupe Matamoros - Alvarez was called home on June 15, 2018. She was second born of nine brothers and sisters on June 16, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona to Frank Matamoros Sr. and Modesta Barrera Matamoros. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jaime and Steven Matamoros and survived by daughter Syvia Contrerars, son Jacob Contreras, Grandson Chevelle Contreras, four brothers and two sisters and many nieces and nephew and great nieces and great nephews. Baba was the light of being a mother, lalita, sister, aunt, friend and will be deeply missed at family gatherings.
