Our beloved Cruz Romo, Jr., age 76, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cruz Romo, Sr. and Serefina Eureste Romo; his daughter, Janet, and his siblings, Flora Eureste Romo, Enrique Romo, Johnny Romo, and Sylvester Romo. Cruz is survived by his wife, Virginia Romo; his children, Marina Romo, Rosemary Romo, and Oscar Romo; his siblings, Zeke Romo, Sam Romo, Lilly Romo, Gloria Esparza, Guadalupe Rivera, Luz Romo, and Jesus Romo, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019, with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:30, Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2019, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.
